Remakes?
Are they a good idea. Apperently they have begun flirting with the idea of remaking Final Fantasy 7. I for one would love to see updated graphics on some of the classic games and the "Special Editions" of Devil May Cry three have sold well, having a few bonus features. I also believe that it is a slippery slope. If a remake of FF7 sells well (and it will) a whole crap load of remakes will pop up, some that shouldn't be remade. some people are against the idea that ff7 should be remade, because they don't think it will be as good as the origonal ff7. which is prepostrous. sure, ff7 was a great game, but it was a great game FOR IT'S TIME. it's still a fine game to play, but that's all it is. that's why i'm all for a remake. I never fully played ff7, juat about half of it. i got sick of the graphics, and went and spoiled the ending and everything else i could out about the story, thanks to the miracle of the internet. A remake would give me a chance to fully appreciate the game, and I want to see some visuals in full 3d. :wink:

i think a remake would be awesome. cloud and sephy duking it out in all their hi-res glory... but i'm curious to know what everyone else thinks. guys?

That would be the movie Advent Children. I hoping to see diamond weapon being shot by the mako cannon. Something fresh to a classic game and imagine all the extra crap you'd get now.

nah, i'd rather play a brand new DMC than play a remake. but ff7 has a certian...something to it.

What about a remake of something like Out of this World, you guys may not habe heard of it but it was ahead of it's time graphically and in storyline. It was for SNES http://www.mobygames.com/game/snes/out-of-this-world
