So how is it? Assassins creed that is. (I'm talking to Brannen)

Awsome...I haven't had a chance to get too far into it but I can say this, It's like Prince of Persia...if the prince were a ninja! Add in a world like Shadow of the Colossus (Except better looking) and you got Assassin's creed.
The Story I haven't had much but your character is so good that he is arrogent. This gets you in trouble with the guild very early on in the game.
You can kill anyone at anytime (though doing so gets people after you. They don't like it when you kill friends and family) and collect hidden flags around the MASSIVE cities.
Beyond that I will have to play more and find out.

I must play. But I have to wait until X-mas to get a 360...... :'(
Brannen- 11-17-2007
Hey that fact that you're getting a 360 for christmas is good enough to wait. You can always try it here.

Really? I would but your brother being a Jew. Beat the crack out of him. It might help. If it doesn't that's fine with me. Hehe....
Brannen- 11-18-2007
I should beat the crap out of him. Thinking he can dictate who sees MY game.
lylax- 11-18-2007
Uh... double post.
Brannen- 11-21-2007

The game, as far as graphics go, is beautiful. as far as story goes, it keeps pulling you in, like an actual book. as far as gameplay goes, let's just say the prince of persia needs a new job.
I'm about halfway done the game, I have 4 more targets i have to take out. apparently one of your targets is also an assassin, i'm going nuts with anticipation to see what he'll be like.
missions are divided into different segments, your first priority is to climb to a high point in the city, to get a lay of the land and find where your next objectives are. next you have to check out the assassin's bureau, and your comrade will tell you where to go next. here on out you go around collecting information on your current target, figure out where and when you'll kill him, and plan out how you'll get away alive. Then you actually DO it, and oh, what a rush, each assassination is so very different, it's a lot of fun to do every time.
The throwing knives and short sword are my favorite weapons. the short sword is great for getting people out of your way quickly when you have to make a run for it, and the knives are your best option for taking out archers when you are running along the rooftops of any of the three beautiful cities, Acre (my favorite), Damascus, and Jerusalem.
Then you also have your normal long sword, which is your last resort when you can't run, and your hidden blade with which you carry out your assassinations.

I beat it! And yes the surprize is well worth the play through. He's hopeing for an AC two. I like Damascus the best not sure why but then again I've been to each place so much they sort of bleed into each other Acre is the only city that sands out in my head because it is an english settlement. Looking like the old school midevil struff (which it is during the crusades)
