yeah it was before the ending came out. after the ending people started giving it slightly lower reviews XD. It was number one at one point, but nothing beats ruruni kenshin for very long, it's been at the top for god knows how long.

And I have heard nothing about it.

you've barely seen four animes, so i'm not surprised. it's a samurai anime, though reminiscence is just the movie of it. and it's one of the most beautiful pieces of animation, American or Japanese, in existance. the anime is like a samurai version of trigun, but don't judge it on that, because thats only the closest comparison i could think of. the movie, reminisence, is different. its a lot more serious, more gory, and kenshin doesn't act like an idiot (well, ok, very funny idiots) in the movie like he and vash do in the animes.

That's because and I've said it before... Anime generally sucks!

Reminiscence one of the most beautiful pieces of animation, American or Japanese, in existence. And most anime is better than most American cartoons.

Don't get my started on calling them anime and cartoons.And when you look back does it really matter how beautiful it all was. Bugs Bunny and Transformers were never beautiful but it's still what I watched. (Cause as a kid I never cared...still don't)

no...cause you never had a choice, and still don't, with american animation. nowadays kids in america watch anime, not cartoons. I never said Kenshin was for kids.

Stop that! Anime is better then cartoons. :x You'd be surprized the non japanese cartoons are out there. However today is all about Computer generated stuff. And since japan is turning out more animation then babies it's only natural for kids to watch it. They too have no choice.

There's plenty of american crap. only it never gets good ratings and ytv and places like it pull the stuff down before long. And most anime is not pointed towards kids. kids can't appreciate it.
