well, i got one.
after vowing many times that i wouldn't. after saying i'd be too lazy to hold the controller up to play it, even, because you'd have to hold it up constantly. (in reality, i've discovered that it's not THAT bad.) after saying i'd rather get any other console than it, i have actually gotten it first. :roll: I got a wii. and i like it. :wink: post reactions and comments here.

I like it too, and I like beating you in bowling and golf ad well that's it you ran away after losing to me in golf. Besides why didn't you just wait to pick up the 360?

hey i beat you in tennis! and besides, i'm probably better than you now, hehe. i may get a 360 later when i have a job. i did not have enough to buy the 360, and even once i would have, i would need to save up for the games...xbox live...and accessories. with the wii, i got it AND 4 games with the money i couldn't even get a 360 with. plus, it's...fun to play. :P it's been 3 days, and i have 25 hours on zelda: twilight princess. i have, quite simply, never had that much fun before, slashing away at evil-doers and monsters! 8) using the the wii controller, from an outsider's perspective, you just look like an idiot waving around a white stick, (actually, there really are a few idiots that have hit walls, TVs, and friends with their wii-remotes already) but once you have it your hand, you don't seem to worry what you look like your'e doing, cause you're having too much fun.

Isn't that what the wrist strap is for? Thought that stupid, "Please remember to have no one around you" does get annoying after a while and gets ignored.

very true. it also tells you to tighten the strap (well, not tighten, but close) around your wrist, but i just put it on.

That is no good if you bowl. Your asking to send the remote into the T.V

Ya I'm calling the place so they can replace the strap with the new one because I have the older really thin string one. Ya but the Wii is awesome. But the one thing I hate about it is that you don't need any adapter or cords to go online yet they haven't created any online compatible games for it. :?

I think the online stuff is for the garbage like the weather channel etc. (Oh lets watch the weather in spain)

No but It's easy top get an internet connection but they haven't created any online games for the Wii to use the internet connection that is right there at your feet begging you to play an online game. I have never played online on a console except DS and PSP.

I guess it isn't as funn swinging the wii remote by yourself.
