WHAT'S UP WITH YTV

Saying most of it is crap is just as biased. Other then that, fine, I guess I misunderstood what you said, or at least part of it. im just tired of hearing that type of stuff, because i get enough of it from my parents whos' soul belief is that all animation is for kids, and the violent ones are just crap. (yes, even movies like advent Children) so violent animated shows are crap kids' shows to them.

Well I actually ment that zatch bell, yugio gx are really bad but ok fair enough.

i was talking to Brannen for that part. xP anyhoo yeah i agree those animes suck. but the original yugioh in japanese was so much better. The english yugioh sucked so bad, They took so much stuff out of the show, symbols, blood, gore, many of the extra cutscenes, all the death animations for the monsters (they just sort of "evaporate" in the english one), There's a whole list of it.

That is the most alterations I have ever heard about a single show. My dad is much the same when it comes to Video games. He tries to badmouth cartoons but he watched Beast Wars and other good ones.

Shows like Beyblade(I think its Japanese, nuff said), Full Metal Alchemist(I don't know what the big deal is), Naruto(I actually like the show but the English dubs are horrible, "Believe it"), yugio gx(come-on its a show about cards, the 1st one was 'original' but this one is just plain bad) and Zatch Bell(Warning: Watching this show is not recommended by ANYONE, doing so will cause brain damage). I have had the unfortunate oppernitunity of watching this show and I swear I've become as dumb as brannen, well not that dumb but you get the point. I don't know why ytv thought switching the network originals out with lame Japanese shows was a good idea. Most of these shows suck and are completely pointless, again I'm talking about Zatch Bell. Your right I'm just angry about the anime that sucks because there is so much that does. Gundam Wing was pulled off the air which sucks because I liked it, and I think they only re-ran the series once. I don't like Gundam Seed/Destiny because the fights are just way too flashy. I don't get why people like Bleach or Full Metal Alchemist but I didn't think that sucks so I didn't list it at all. Although one time I was skimming through the channels and on Bleach I saw that the father of the bleach dude, taking off his shirt and telling his dauther to "give your hunkey dad a hug" then she hit him, I know that this was part of the comedy routine but it was pretty disterbing considering what could be implied. I don't like Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex for some reasion but I can see why some people like it (some chick is running around with barely any clothes on doing something, I don't know what she's doing and I don't care. just never add anything to your everyday clothing selection and I'll keep watching). Just kidding about the last part. Ummm... that's a matter of opinion, just because an anime is on some list that japan-alolichs watch alot doesn't mean that everyone likes it. Anyways, how many of those top 50's do you see on YTV? Probably 3or4 and one of them (Naruto) has crappy dubs, making the show actually painful to watch. ... 6. You only need to see a couple of shows to get the gist of what a series is going to be like. Why are you trying to tell me that anime is automatically superior to everything, it doesn't matter because there are good shows and bad ones. I'm just saying there are a lot of bad anime shows on YTV, most of them don't demonstrate any superiority over anything. I'm saying ytv should try to make better choices in picking there shows. Anyways I like anime, gundam wing, naruto, hellsing, guyver are some of the ones I like, But I like those because they demonstrate this superiority, unlike the ones ytv shows. Don't try to turn this into an anime hating battle. Yeah Spartan you fell off topic a bit. The read is not about YTV having too much Anime or not enough. It's about why it seems to be making the wrong choices in what it shows. It seems Animes get preferentual (Spelling) treatment, which is not a good thing. Despite the quality of some anime. Soon YTV will become ATV (Anime Television) And that was just the first page alone, I don't think I could have gotten any clearer than that, its your fault for not fully reading what I posted.

Full Metal Alcehemist is a Great anime, people are more then justified in loving FMA. Don't lob it in with the rest of your complaints. Oh wait, I said this last time. Complaining about anime on YTV, it's walking a fine line, since a lot of the animes are good, its about half-half. YTV still has a couple good animes on, FMA being one, Bleach being another (it was anime of the year. I dont care if you didnt like it, fact is it is a very good show.) Gundam Seed, while not as good as wing, doesnt "suck". I just recently finished ghost in the shell and its a great show, as well. Thats not a lot, considering many more shows are american-made, and most of them suck even worse then these animes. I dont see you complaining about yvon of the yukon, zixx, robotboy, jacob two two, martin mystery, jimmy neutron, the amazing adrenilini brothers, danny phantom, avatar the last airbender, being ian, or about 20 more of the american shows listed on ytv's show list. They're terrible, and there's many more of them then all the anime on YTV put together. As for YTV's choices, they are like any other station, they're in it for the money, and put on what gets the most views for their station, its not preferential treatment, it's profit.

O well I'll fix it latter. And your doing it again I was only talking about anime that sucked, I didn't state the american shows because I wasn't involving them at teh time but yes most of them do suck. Avatar the last airbender is good, I'm not sure if its american though.

I liked Avatar but I think Spartan would be all.... "It sucked, the art sucked" or some other thing that dosen't really matter in a show.
